Chef’s Corner (Sept 17)

It’s hard to believe that the Summer season is almost coming to an end. We will be having our annual Labor Day ala cart grill out Monday, September 4th, with a wide variety of choices to ensure there is something for everyone. There will be full service bars both inside and outside, the Pool and Oasis will be open and plan to host a great beer toss, also the Half-way House will be open until 6 for those of you who plan to golf. We hope everyone enjoyed their time spent here at your Club this Summer and we look forward to a great Fall season as well.

Beginning Wednesday, September 13th, we will be offering a Comfort Food buffet every Wednesday evening from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Cave. The buffet will feature our famous fried chicken (every night) paired with other family favorites like country fried steak, meatloaf, catfish, salmon patties, roast beef, chicken pot pie and a selection of starch, vegetables, and bread for $11. Many of our membership have inquired or requested a buffet of this nature so we hope it’s something you all will enjoy.

On Saturday, September 16th, we will be hosting a New Member Social. The event will be open to all members from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Located on the patio, weather permitting, or in the upstairs dining areas, complimentary light Hors D’Oeuvres will be provided along with a fully stocked bar so everyone can enjoy their cocktails, beer or wine of choice by member charge. Reservations are required through Kara Early (Ext. 12). We encourage all members to participate in this event as it will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to meet, socialize and create bonds with all other members.

With Holiday Season quickly approaching, so are your Holiday Parties. Why not transfer all the party planning and hosting stress to us? We would love to host your event! Allow us to do all the work and planning so you can enjoy your time as well. Remember our calendar fills up quickly, so those of you whom have yet to call, please do so. Early reservations are the only way to ensure you can book the best date and space for your special event. For all information, inquiries, or to start planning, contact Kara Early (ext.12).

Please keep your club in mind for any of your event planning needs. From business meetings, banquets, showers, birthdays, weddings, small family functions, reunions, and anything in between, we pride ourselves on our ability to meet your specific needs. Know someone needing to plan something? You, as a member, can refer them to your Club and we can make any event a memorable one.
